Author Nadjejd

Nadjejd “DeeDee” Scott is a first-time author originally from the Bronx, New York, where she was lovingly adopted by her late parents. Her biological roots trace back to Haiti, and her inspiring life journey has often moved others to encourage her to share her story. When presented with the opportunity to contribute to the anthology *From Their Eyes*, DeeDee was honored and grateful that God allowed her to share a glimpse of her adoption journey with the world. On March 14, 2003, she became Nadjejd Scott through marriage—a union that lasted 20 years before life took an unexpected turn. She shares her story in another anthology called "After the Vows: A Wife's Story". She has now completed her story "From Their Eyes" anthology in her first solo autobiography, "The Love That Carries Me". Now residing in Victoria, Virginia, Nadjejd continues to embrace her faith and purpose. She also believes that in time, God will once again bless her with love and a new beginnings.
